A brief history of the SRI industry

SRI in the Rockies' venues pass a rigorous screening process that includes sections on green building, sustainable operations and cultural sensitivity.  Potential sites must submit information on their significant environmental policies, labor and working conditions history, and any use of First Nations imagery, cultural or religious sites.

The SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing (formerly SRI in the Rockies) is the premier annual gathering of investors and investment professionals working to direct the flow of investment capital to enhance the common good. The SRI Conference offers many opportunities to meet and learn from passionate, creative people from all corners of the sustainable, responsible, impact investing (SRI) industry in the United States and around the world.

 

In 2012, we will be gathering at the Mohegan Sun Conference Center in southeastern Connecticut. Please plan to join us there October 2-4, 2012 for the 23rd annual SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing. For those of you interested in our selection of the Mohegan Sun Conference Center as the 2012 conference venue, please review "Why the Mohegan Sun?" We are looking forward to working with the Mohegan Tribe!

Last October, we took the conference to New Orleans. If you joined us, thank you for coming. We trust you had a productive and enjoyable time!. If you were not able to join us in the Big Easy, you can listen to speakers and view presentations by going to the Agenda and clicking on the “View” and “Listen” links.

The 2011 conference offered participants the opportunity to join a Community Development Tour. The tour featured ten sites where participants witnessed community investments at work in the rebuilding of New Orleans. Thank you to the Calvert Foundation, HOPE Credit Union, The Isaiah Fund and Enterprise Community Partners for organizing the tour, and to the Calvert Foundation for producing and sharing the video in the lower right column of this page. We hope you enjoy it!
