This interview features Riane Eisler, a social scientist, attorney and author of The Real Wealth of Nations: Creating a Caring Economics, and the internationally acclaimed bestseller, The Chalice and The Blade: Our History, Our Future, as well as numerous other books and articles.  Dr. Eisler is president of the Center for Partnership Studies, a fellow of the World Business Academy, and a Councilor of the World Future Council.   She consults for business and governments, and has been a leader in the movements for peace, environmental sustainability, economic equity, and human rights.

In this interview hosted by Steve Schueth, President of First Affirmative Financial Network, Dr. Eisler shares insight into her work on “caring economics,” which illustrates the reality that many of the most important economic assets are not financial, but rather contributions of people and the natural environment.  She provides an unparalleled perspective from extensive work on the role of women in society and in world economic models.

Riane Eisler is scheduled to speak at the 2010 SRI in the Rockies Conference in San Antonio Texas on November 20th in the session, “Beyond GDP-Toward Qualitative Growth.”
