The main SRI Conference program begins on Thursday, November 1 at 12:15 p.m. and closes at 2:00 p.m. after lunch on November 3.
New Participant Orientation takes place from 11 a.m. to noon.
The conference is followed by the two-day Advisor Summit Workshop which begins shortly after the close of the main conference and continues through November 4.

Michelle Edkins is a Managing Director at BlackRock and Global Head of its Investment Stewardship team of over 30 specialists internationally. Michelle is responsible for the team’s engagement and proxy voting activities in relation to the companies in which BlackRock invests on behalf of clients. She also serves on the firm’s Global Operating, Human Capital and Government Relations Steering Committees. An active participant in the public corporate governance debate, she was named in the NACD Directorship 100 Governance Professionals list the past seven years. She is also a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s First Movers program and a former Chair of the Board of Governors of the International Corporate Governance Network. She currently serves on a number of industry initiatives to enhance governance and sustainable business practices including the US chapter of the 30% Club, a market initiative to increase the number of women on boards and in senior management, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Investor Advisory Group and the CECP’s Strategic Investor Initiative. An economist by training, Michelle has also worked in the UK in a number of investment stewardship-related roles and in government roles in her native New Zealand.
Chad Myers, CNN Chief Meteorologist
Chad Myers is a weather anchor and severe weather expert for CNN Worldwide based in the network's world headquarters in Atlanta. Previously, Myers served as a meteorologist and weather anchor for CNN/U.S. Earlier, Myers served as meteorologist for the morning and noon news broadcasts for WXYZ-TV in Detroit. From 1991-1994, Myers served as chief meteorologist and anchored the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts for WSYX-TV in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to working at WSYX-TV, he served as the weekend meteorologist for ABC affiliate KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City. Myers also has served as the morning and noon meteorologist at WTVR-TV in Richmond, Va., and as weekend weather/environmental reporter at KOLN-TV in Lincoln, Neb. From 1985-1987, Myers worked within the Techniques Developmental Lab of the National Weather Service in Silver Spring, Md., developing the computer systems for the AWIPS 90 forecasts and NEXRAD radar. Myers earned a bachelor's degree in meteorology from the University of Nebraska and holds the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.
The Advisor Summit Workshop is an extension of The SRI Conference and is presented by First Affirmative Financial Network.
The workshop is designed to provide financial planners and investment advisors with the tools they need to successfully integrate SRI into their practices for the long term.
The workshop will feature in-depth tutorials on a variety of topics including:
Attendees also have the opportunity to network with, and learn from experienced SRI advisors in a more intimate setting after the close of the main conference.
The Advisor Summit Workshop is typically approved for between four and six hours of continuing credit for CFP designees.
